1 LD50 oral in rats.
2 LD50 coetaneous in rats or rabbits.
3 LC50 by inhalation (four hours) in rats.
(G) Radioactive:
Radioactive materials mean any material containing radionuclide where both the
activity concentration and the total activity in the consignment exceed the values
specified, depending on the type of material by the Atomic Energy Commission of India.
(H) Corrosive:
Corrosive substances are substances which by chemical action will cause severe
damage when in contact with living tissue or in the case of leakage will materially
damage or even destroy other goods or the means of transport. They may also cause
other hazards.
