(1) When a bi-fuel vehicle has flex fuel option, both test requirements are applicable. Vehicle
tested with E100 need not to be tested for E85.
(2) Only NOx emissions shall be determined when the vehicle is running on Hydrogen.
(3) Reference Fuel is ’Hydrogen for Internal Combustion Engine’ as Specified in Annexure
IV-W.
(4) For Positive ignition, particulate mass and number limits for vehicles with positive
ignition engines including hybrids shall apply only to vehicles with direct injection
engines.
