In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Motor
Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019 (32 of 2019), the Central Government hereby appoints
the 1st day of October, 2020 as the date on which the provisions of following sections of
the said Act shall come into force, namely:—
Sl. No. Sections
1. Section 45;
2. Section 74;
3. Section 88;
4. Section 90;
5. Sub-clause (b) of clause (i) section 91

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Motor
Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019 (32 of 2019), the Central Government hereby appoints
the 27th day of November, 2020 as the date on which the section 36 of the said Act shall
come into force.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Motor
Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019 (32 of 2019), the Central Government hereby appoints
the 1st day of April, 2021 as the date on which the provisions of section 39 and section 40
of the said Act shall come into force.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Motor
Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019 (32 of 2019), the Central Government hereby appoints
the 1st day of April, 2021 as the date on which the following provisions of the said Act
shall come into force, namely:—
