In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Motor
Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019 (32 of 2019), the Central Government hereby appoints
the 15th day of July, 2021 as the date on which the provisions of section 47 of the said Act
shall come into force.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Motor
Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019 (32 of 2019), the Central Government hereby appoints
the 15th day of February, 2022 as the date on which section 44 of the said Act shall come
into force.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Jan Vishwas
(Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2023 (18 of 2023), the Central Government hereby
appoints the 13th day of January, 2025 as the date on which the enactment mentioned at
serial number 26 of the Schedule to the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act,
2023 shall come into force.
