174             THE CENTRAL MOTOR VEHICLES RULES, 1989           RULE 115

                                         7. Reference fuel shall be as specified in Annexure IV-G of the said rules.
                                         8. Requirements of durability have been built in the mass emission standards
                                            specified above.
                                         9. Conformity of Production (COP) frequency and sampling shall be as per
                                            clause (e) of sub-rule (12) of rule 115 of the said rules.
                                        10. Test procedure shall be in accordance with Ministry of Road Transport and
                                            Highways/Central Motor Vehicles  Rules/Type Approval
                                            Procedure-115/116 (MoRTH/CMVR/TAP-115/116).
                                        11. The vehicles shall comply with the provisions of clause (i) of sub-rule (2) of
                                            rule 115 of the said rules.
                                        12. The commercial fuel for gasoline vehicle shall be as per Bureau of Indian
                                            Standards specification IS:2796-2008 for gasoline.]

                                      [ [(G)(i)] The provisions of this sub-rule in respect of four wheeled vehicles
                                 manufactured on and from the 1st October, 2010 shall apply to all the States and the
                                 Union Territories except National Capital Region and the cities of Mumbai, Kolkata,
                                 Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad including Secunderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, Surat,
                                 Kanpur, Agra, Sholapur and Lucknow.]

                                      [(ii)  The provisions of  this sub-rule in  respect  of four-wheeled vehicles
                                 manufactured on and from the 1st October, 2014 shall not apply to the cities of
                                 Puducherry, Mathura, Vapi, Jamnagar, Ankaleshwar, Hissar, Bharatpur, Daman, Diu,
                                 Silvasa, Unnao, Rae Bareilly, Aligarh, Karnal, Valsad, Yamuna Nagar, Kurukshetra,
                                 Nizamabad, Medak and Mehboobnagar.]

                                      [(iii) The provisions of  this sub-rule  in  respect of four wheeler vehicles
                                 manufactured on and from the 15th July, 2015 shall not apply to the cities of Vrindavan,
                                 Kosi Kalan, Hindaun city, Dholpur, Ahmednagar, Mahabaleshwar, Lonwala, Palgarh,
                                 Dahanu, Talasari, Boisar, Panchagani, Mahad, Nagothana, Indapur, Vizag, Kochi,
                                 Trivandrum, Kavaratti, Nagar, Dig, Nadbai, Bhiwani, Jind, Mahendragarh, Hansi,
                                 Charki Dadri, Narnaul, Kiruli and Fatehpur Sikri.]

                                      [(iv) The provisions of  this sub-rule  in  respect of four wheeler vehicles
                                 manufactured on and from the 1st October, 2015 shall not apply to the States of Jammu
                                 and Kashmir (except Districts of Leh and Kargil), Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh,
                                 Uttarakhand, and districts  of Hanumangarh  and  Sri  Ganganagar in  the State  of
                                 Rajasthan and in the districts of Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnaur, Jyotiba Phule
                                 Nagar, Rampur, Muradabad, Aligarh, Badaun, Bareilly, Mathura, Mahamayanagar,
                                 Etah, Agra,  Firozabad,  Etawah, Mainpuri,  Pilibhit, Shamli, Sambhal,  Farrukabad,
                                 Kannauj, Auriya and Kasganj in the State of Uttar Pradesh;
                                      (v) The  provisions  of this  sub-rule  in respect  of four-wheeled vehicles
                                 manufactured on and from 1st April, 2016 shall not apply to the States of Goa, Kerala,
                                 Karnataka, Telangana, Odisha and the Union territories of Daman and Diu, Dadra and
                                 Nagar Haveli and Andaman and Nicobar Islands, districts of Mumbai, Thane and Pune
                                 in the State of Maharashtra and districts of Surat, Valsad, Dangs and Tapi in the State
                                 of Gujarat;
