(2) Headlamps No Yes Visual rule 105 and Visual inspection
Assembly AIS-008 or parameters:
AIS-008 (i) Bulb should be
(Rev. 1) and working;
AIS-009 or (ii) Head lamp
AIS-009 operating switch
(Rev. 1) working;
(iii) No broken lens;
(iv) Lens of the lamp
should not be painted
with colour OR pasted
with sticker
(v) No moisture
deposition on the inside
surface of the lens.
(3) Lights
(a) Top Lights No Yes Visual rule 107, 108 Visual inspection
and AIS:008 parameters:
or AIS-008 (i) Coloured lens shall
(Rev. 1) not be faded;
(ii) Lens should not be
broken;
(iii) Lamp shall be
working;
(iv) For the lamps with
dual coloured lens, red
lens shall be oriented
towards rear and white
shall be towards front;
(v) No moisture
deposition on the inside
surface of the lens;
(vi) Secured fitment of
the lamps.
(b) Stop Lights No Yes Visual rule 102 and Visual inspection
AIS-008 or parameters:
AIS-008 (i) Coloured lens shall
(Rev. 1) and not be faded;
AIS-009 or (ii) Lens should not be
AIS-009 broken;
(Rev.1) (iii) Lamp shall be
working on actuation of
the brake;
(iv) No moisture
deposition on the inside
surface of the lens;
(v) Secured fitment of
the lamps.
